Picture Perfect: Anja Rubik for Vogue Paris

This picture stood out for me and the moment I saw it I thought 'WOW', Anja Rubik looks breathtaking. The picture is from an editorial she is in for Vogue Paris June/July Issue and was photographed by Mario Sorrenti, one of my absolute favourite photographers. I love the free-woman, natural, minimalistic, candid feeling of the picture and all those elements are what make it a great photo, Oh and Anja's flawless beauty.

Gucci Spring-Summer 2013 Ad Campaign

I might be a little behind on this post seeing as all Spring/Summer ad campaigns are already being featured in magazines but, here is the stunning ad campaign from Gucci. This is one of my favourite campaigns for this season, it's simplistic, striking, memorable, beautiful and quite simply all-about-the-clothes, which is how it should be sometimes. One of my favourite photographer pairings; Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott were the creators of these stunning pictures along with models Anja Rubik, Karmen Pedaru who both know how to strike one hell of a pose and Clement Chabernaud (modelling the menswear). I say job extremely well done by Gucci as this is a memorable ad campaign that I certainly won't be forgetting any time soon, magnifique...

Anja Rubik - Streetstyle

I saw this shot of model Anja Rubik at Carolines Mode| StockholmStreetstyle and instantly loved her laid-back, easy-breezy look in this photo, and I particularly love her maxi dress especially the way she paired it with laced-up boots by Balmain which immediately gives it an edgy feel. Anja is always effortlessly chic and this look is no different.

The last few days I have been a little slow on updating due to the fact there is a spell of amazing weather at the moment which makes me allergic to being inside! But as I'm in a haze from all this beautiful sunshine and clear blue skies what better way to add a touch of that to VIVA NORADA than with this gorgeous editorial from Vogue Paris, April 2012 issue. It's all about blue jeans with this one, with hints of turquoise and gold metallics and the perfect backdrop of crashing waves. Modelled by the flawless professional Anja Rubik (girl knows how to strike a pose!), photographed by Hans Feurer and styled by Géraldine Saglio. Enjoy this one and I hope the weather is beautiful where you are...

Self Service Magazine, Spring / Summer 2012

I have confessed my love for black & white photography before on here, and with my last post and this post I'm sure that love is obvious to you! Here is another editorial this time from Self Service magazine's Spring Summer '12 issue. I really love the all-white styling in mix with the aeronautic background theme, because the two work pefectly in sync with eachother to create some great photos like the one of Anja sitting on the nose of the aircraft, flawless.
