Fatale

I love when a new issue for a magazine comes out and there happens to be an editorial that pleasantly surprises you. Well, that is what occurred when I first saw this ed titled 'Fatale' for the March issue of Vogue Paris, it is smoking hot and features some of the best cheekbones in the business. Photographed by Mert & Marcus and starring Lara Stone, Amanda Wellsh & Anna Ewers, here's my pick of the pictures from the editorial.

Givenchy Spring/Summer 2014 Ad Campaign

This, the first shot from Givenchy's S/S ad campaign has been trending today and I have to say I'm liking what I see and can't wait to see more. Photographed by Mert & Marcus, creative director Riccardo Tisci and featuring Erykah Badu and new girl [Eboni] Riley who I expect massive things from in the future, supermodel in the making? We'll have to wait and see.

Liquid Gold Gucci

What a truly stunning picture this is from Gucci's ad campaign for the Cruise 2014 collection photographed by Mert & Marcus. Andreea Diaconu embodies the glamour of Gucci so well I hope she snaps up the Spring/Summer 2014 campaign too. What a great location for a campaign too and a striking sunset never fails as a backdrop really.

Gucci Spring-Summer 2013 Ad Campaign

I might be a little behind on this post seeing as all Spring/Summer ad campaigns are already being featured in magazines but, here is the stunning ad campaign from Gucci. This is one of my favourite campaigns for this season, it's simplistic, striking, memorable, beautiful and quite simply all-about-the-clothes, which is how it should be sometimes. One of my favourite photographer pairings; Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott were the creators of these stunning pictures along with models Anja Rubik, Karmen Pedaru who both know how to strike one hell of a pose and Clement Chabernaud (modelling the menswear). I say job extremely well done by Gucci as this is a memorable ad campaign that I certainly won't be forgetting any time soon, magnifique...

Calvin Klein Jeans Spring 2012

A few weeks ago I posted the pictures from this Spring '12 campaign from Calvin Klein Jeans, but here is the video edition of this campaign and it is Sexy with a capital S. Directed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and featuring Lara Stone, Toni Garrn, Joan Smalls, Matthew Terry, Arran Sly, and Myles Crosby.

Adele, Vogue US, March 2012

Adele is the cover star and featured in the current issue of Vogue (US) magazine, and my does she show why she's worthy. She looks incredible in the photo's from the issue, photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. One thing about this editorial I love (other than the photos being flawlessly beautiful) is how refreshing it is to see Adele wearing colours, as we normally see her looking gorgeous in a lot of dark colours and wow, don't colours and prints look amazing on her. I demand to see more of Adele wearing colour and prints in the future! Enjoy this loveliness...

DSQUARED2 Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaign

DSQUARED's Spring/Summer show was really, really good in my opinion. The theme was music festivals and looking at it, it was almost like watching festival goers put on a fashion show at Glastonbury. So the campaign has that very theme- music festivals modeled by Natasha Poly and photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Natasha is one of favourite models because she stands out from the crowd every time but doesn't she look like Kate Moss in these pictures (not that it's a bad thing). Anyway this is a great campaign and will no doubt put you in the mood for Summertime to get here, fast!

Stella McCartney Spring / Summer '12 Campaign

Here is Stella McCartney's Spring '12 ad campaign, modeled by Natalia Vodianova and photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. I would call this modern retro, because the black and white side has a 70's free spirit feel with the paisley prints, the large sunglasses the shaggy hairstyle with minimalist make-up showing the collection in an easy and simplistic way. Whereas the vibrant and colourful flower wall surrounding the model brings a modern edge to the pictures. The mix of black and white and colour looks great. I love this campaign, it's one of my favourites from the Spring 2012 collections and the more I look at it the more I love it!
