Best Looks Of 2013

Well, it is hard to believe another year has gone by seeing as it only feels like last Christmas was only recently. But when the year comes to an end I often think back over some of my favourite looks from the past 12 months. This year although it wasn't incredible in terms of memorable red carpet looks it certainly didn't disappoint. A couple of stand-out looks for me were Rihanna in that stunning custom Azzedine Alaia gown at this years Grammy Awards, and I also adored Nicole Kidman in that exquisite Valentino Haute Couture gown at the Cannes Film Festival. So here is my full selection of favourite red carpet looks from 2013, and here's hoping 2014 is even better!

Givenchy Spring/Summer 2014 Ad Campaign

This, the first shot from Givenchy's S/S ad campaign has been trending today and I have to say I'm liking what I see and can't wait to see more. Photographed by Mert & Marcus, creative director Riccardo Tisci and featuring Erykah Badu and new girl [Eboni] Riley who I expect massive things from in the future, supermodel in the making? We'll have to wait and see.

Style Inspired

I absolutely adore Natasha Goldenberg for her fun, eclectic, modern yet classic style. For one she always has the best accessories and is not afraid to over accessorize- while making it work, she also mixes textures and prints that probably shouldn't work together- but they do, and most importantly she is a genius at layering. I love seeing what she wears next and I never fail to get ideas from her, which brings me to this short and sweet post of one of Natasha's latest looks which I absolutely adore everything about. The Best Boots

 Now it's time for my final shopping report, and this time it's all about boots. I have searched here, there and everywhere and I have to say there are so many boots to choose from out there at the moment. With so much to choose from it made it more difficult to narrow down to my picks for the best ones available, but I have done so. The one downside to doing these shopping reports is that you realise how many gorgeous boots there are out there just waiting to be bought and take up residence in my closet but, I would have to have Beyoncé's bank balance for all of these to be mine- sad face. So, getting down to business here is my pick of the best boots available this Autumn/Winter, there are 40 of them so get your wish-list ready. (Just in time for Christmas too..)

Sweater Season

The temperatures outside are turning considerably cooler at the moment and with that the need to feel warm and cosy (but stylish at the same time) becomes greater. I like to call it sweater weather. Me myself, I love sweaters, I have quite the selection of chunky knits, fine knits, slouchy, fitted, cropped sweaters etc. so this time of year is my favourite time of year. A few weeks ago I posted Part 1 of a 3 part report on my pick of the best coats out there for this Autumn/Winter, this report- Part 2 is my pick of the best knitwear/sweaters out there for A/W and soon i'll be sharing Part 3 my pick of the best boots on offer for the season ahead.
