Christine Centenera

Christine Centenera (Vogue Australia senior fashion editor) is a style genius and a inspires me with every outfit she wears. She wears a lot of black, as I do- but she's always inventive making each new look fresh and unique but I particularly love how she layers clothes, it could be trousers under a dress or skirt, it could be a simple white shirt under a boxy leather t-shirt or two jackets worn at the same time (madness, you might think)- whatever it is she always manages to layer pieces without it adding inches and looking bulky, which brings me to this post. As we all know the Spring/Summer 2014 collections were being shown at Fashion Week[s] recently and as well as us all getting the first look at what S/S next year has to offer it also brings out the fashion worlds elite. One of those elite is Ms. Cenentera and these past weeks she brought her A+ game as usual in the form of her outfits. So these are my favourite looks from my favourite fashion editor- get ready to be inspired and wowed.
Emma.

Style Perfection: Christine Centenera

So another fashion month has finished, designers and fashion houses have shown their collections for Fall/Winter 2013 and one thing I love as much as examining the collections themselves is seeing what the show attendees are wearing. That is the cue for the streestyle phenomena, whether it's streetsyle blogs or streetstyle features for magazines and fashion websites you are definitely not going to miss who wears what and where. Another thing I love about streetstyle photography is that seeing all these people who look incredible and obviously have a passion for fashion and style, it gives me inspiration and ideas of how to wear certain things but with my own twist on it. One person who is a style inspiration to me is Christine Centenera, Vogue Australia senior fashion editor- I have featured her style on VN before and you'll see with this post why I will continue to feature her and find inspiration from her. Tailoring is a popular feature of her looks, pieces that have strong structure and silhouette, she has an androgynous style but with a feminine edge and one thing is clear and it is a huge reason I love her style is that she wears a lot of black but always manages to make it look inventive and unique but never boring, and that's what I find inspiration in. Here are my favourite looks from Christine's attendance at the Fall/Winter 2013 fashion week[s]. Enjoy!

Style Perfection: Christine Centenera at SS '13 Collections

Streetstyle is a major thing in the fashion world right now and long may it be just that, and it's fashion week[s] that really highlights it with all the fashion elite out in force wearing their finery. A few months ago I confessed my love for Christine Centenera (Vogue Australia senior fashion editor) and her amazing style. She wears the most high-fashion, exquisite pieces but always manages to look effortless, cool and relaxed- practically every item of clothing I see her wearing immediately goes on my wishlist if it doesn't already happen to be on there, and not to mention she has the most incredible shoe collection. I feel like I'm rambling on, that's what someone with flawless style like Christine's does to me so I shall zip it and share with you Christine's best outfits from her attendance at the Spring/Summer 2013 collections. Enjoy!
