Shopping: New Arrivals At TOPSHOP

Here are my picks of the best in stores this week at TOPSHOP and it is very apparent that 'Spring' is alive in the stores right now, even though the weather outside is saying it is still very much Winter. That doesn't stop me though from looking  at these lovelies and thinking about how these choices are very versatile and would be easy wearable any month or season in the year, and that's the kind of item I look for for my wardrobe. There is nothing I would hate more than to have a big divide in my wardrobe of clothes you have to retire as soon as the colder or warmer months arrive, I like to have as much versatility in the clothes I buy and that's what I like to choose to share with you; clothes that are not only timeless but extremely versatile. This week theres a large mix of neutrals, black, navy and monochrome prints, great for basics. Gucci Spring-Summer 2013 Ad Campaign

I might be a little behind on this post seeing as all Spring/Summer ad campaigns are already being featured in magazines but, here is the stunning ad campaign from Gucci. This is one of my favourite campaigns for this season, it's simplistic, striking, memorable, beautiful and quite simply all-about-the-clothes, which is how it should be sometimes. One of my favourite photographer pairings; Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott were the creators of these stunning pictures along with models Anja Rubik, Karmen Pedaru who both know how to strike one hell of a pose and Clement Chabernaud (modelling the menswear). I say job extremely well done by Gucci as this is a memorable ad campaign that I certainly won't be forgetting any time soon, magnifique...

Spring Summer 2013 Handbag Wishlist

The Spring/Summer season is just around the corner, the collections are filling the stores so it is only fitting that I have a wish-list for S/S and I have put together my choices for the most need-worthy handbags for this upcoming season. Bright jewel colours are trending along with neautral tones and natural textures such as raffia, wood (yes wood, just check out the clutch from Givenchy), prints and not specific prints as such more, any print counts. Of course this is a wish-list for a reason because I'm pretty sure the total cost of all these bags combined would probably equal the price of an apartment in the centre of Paris, but a girl can stare at these pretty pictures and dream...
