Style Perfection: Christine Centenera

So another fashion month has finished, designers and fashion houses have shown their collections for Fall/Winter 2013 and one thing I love as much as examining the collections themselves is seeing what the show attendees are wearing. That is the cue for the streestyle phenomena, whether it's streetsyle blogs or streetstyle features for magazines and fashion websites you are definitely not going to miss who wears what and where. Another thing I love about streetstyle photography is that seeing all these people who look incredible and obviously have a passion for fashion and style, it gives me inspiration and ideas of how to wear certain things but with my own twist on it. One person who is a style inspiration to me is Christine Centenera, Vogue Australia senior fashion editor- I have featured her style on VN before and you'll see with this post why I will continue to feature her and find inspiration from her. Tailoring is a popular feature of her looks, pieces that have strong structure and silhouette, she has an androgynous style but with a feminine edge and one thing is clear and it is a huge reason I love her style is that she wears a lot of black but always manages to make it look inventive and unique but never boring, and that's what I find inspiration in. I LOVE: Shoes by Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2013

This is a short and sweet post I just had to share with you all showing you these beautiful shoes from Dolce & Gabbana's recent F/W 2013 Collection shown at Milan Fashion Week. I came across this picture on VOGUE Paris' tumblr page and the instant I saw these shoes my heart fluttered a bit, probably because they are so decadent, romantic and oh so feminine. These beauties have now been added to my wish list, obviously- and I couldn't help myself from imagining all the wonderful outfits these shoes would simply make. Sigh...

Shopping: New Arrivals At ZARA

Ahh, I love this time of year when Spring take over stores- everything is lighter and brighter but there is still a wash of black too. I must say as much as I love the brighter colours and the lighter fabrics associated with Spring/Summer but I also love the colour black all through out the year, you can never go wrong with black. The reason I mention the colour is that ZARA seem to have stuck with a strong selection of designs all in my favourite colour black. This week their new arrivals in store are predominantly black, but monochrome is also a favourite with one or two pops of colour in my choices of the best on offer. So for now I shall stop talking and let you all have a peek at my choices for the best new arrivals at ZARA this week, I will warn you it's time to get the wish-list and credit cards at the ready, happy shopping!
