Shopping: New Arrivals At TOPSHOP

Here's my picks of the best in stores/online this week at TOPSHOP and it's pretty clear from my choices that Summer is most definitely in the air in their collections. Cropped trousers and jeans are very popular for this season and I love the 'MOTO ripped bleach Baxter jean' shown here which could be paired with just about anything and worn again and again, a true basic to have in your wardrobe. Then there is the 'Gingham rain mac' which for the festival goers or those of you who like to stay stylish on those rainy days, would be the perfect just-in-case-it-rains coat. I am also in love with the 'Peony garland' headband, I have no idea where or when I would wear it but I still need it! Happy shopping!

Picture Perfect: Natasha Poly for Vogue Russia May 2013

This is such a strikingly beautiful shot of Natasha Poly for Vogue Russia May 2013 issue and proves yet again how Natasha can do no wrong and still remains one of my favourite models. She is serving up that sultry/mysterious/confident woman type of attitude in this editorial, and even though the photo is beautiful I only feel that the plain white background keeps this ed from being something spectacular. I still love it though. Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier and styled by Olga Dunina.

Double Take: Handbags- Tom Ford V H&M

There is one I always enjoy finding when browsing stores is something whether it be clothing, shoes or accessories that is a complete look-alike of something by a high end designer, because lets face it we all love a bargain. Now I do come across quite a lot of look-alike items and it's because of this I decided to start sharing these finds with you which brings me to introduce a new feature on VN called: Double Take, which will be all about showing you more affordable versions of high-end designer pieces. So for my first Double Take feature it's of a handbag by Tom Ford I came across on Neiman Marcus recently and then not long after that I saw another handbag on H&M's website and I thought hmm, that looks familiar and for two bags that look so similar the price tag most definitely is not! I won't go into details about prices with different currencies its difficult to predict an exact price difference but lets just say you would be saving thousands...
