Double Take: Handbags- Tom Ford V H&M

There is one I always enjoy finding when browsing stores is something whether it be clothing, shoes or accessories that is a complete look-alike of something by a high end designer, because lets face it we all love a bargain. Now I do come across quite a lot of look-alike items and it's because of this I decided to start sharing these finds with you which brings me to introduce a new feature on VN called: Double Take, which will be all about showing you more affordable versions of high-end designer pieces. So for my first Double Take feature it's of a handbag by Tom Ford I came across on Neiman Marcus recently and then not long after that I saw another handbag on H&M's website and I thought hmm, that looks familiar and for two bags that look so similar the price tag most definitely is not! I won't go into details about prices with different currencies its difficult to predict an exact price difference but lets just say you would be saving thousands...

Handbags - Fall/Winter 2012 Wishlist

Every season once all the collections are shown, style.com do an accessory report which previews the seasons most essential accessories that will be available from each designer. This report is something that I look forward to every season, for the main reason that I love accessories (who doesn't!?) and also because I fall in love with A LOT of the featured accessories so much that it was a massive struggle for me to make the list of handbags I'm about to show you small enough that you wouldn't get bored half way through! So here's my favourite handbags from the Fall/Winter '12 collections, all on my wishlist (along with many more not featured here!). Style Crush: Jennifer Lawrence

Actress Jennifer Lawrence, is quickly becoming a style icon, especially her outfit choices on the current promotional tour for the movie The Hunger Games (which Jennifer is currently starring in) are anything to go by. Last year during awards season Jennifer was one of my favourites, especially at the 2011 Oscar's in that smoking hot red custom Calvin Klein Collection dress. But for the past few weeks Ms. Lawrence has been rocking some of the hottest looks from the just shown, Fall Winter '12 collections.

 'The Hunger Games' World Premiere, Los Angeles- wearing gold, liquid-like Prabal Gurung (Fall-Winter 2012). One word, HOT.

'The Hunger Games' European Premiere, London- wearing a one of a kind Ralph Lauren, hand beaded (which took over 800 hours to hand bead) gold, crocodile skin-esque dress. Paired with a black velvet Yves Saint Laurent belt. Absolutely stunning.

'The Hunger Games' Photo call, Paris- wearing a black, gold zipper trimmed, open back sheath by Tom Ford (this is also a little preview for Tom Ford's fall-winter '12 collection OF which photos have not been released yet). Sleek, sexy and stylish.
