Prada Menswear FW14 / James McAvoy

Here's the ad campaign for Prada's Fall/Winter '14/15 menswear collection. Starring the very handsome James McAvoy and photographed by Annie Leibovitz.

What a gorgeous campaign. I love the dark, moody and mysterious theme, and that it's fuss free letting the clothes, James and the beautiful photography do all the talking, that is all that is needed for a truly great campaign. The styling is great and this seems to be a more relaxed and natural photography style from Annie, who usually creates very over-the-top, dramatic and overly edited photos, so seeing this fresh, new style from her is promising. Although I like Annie's photography from time to time, it is this less-is-more style from her that is my favourite. As for James, well he's gorgeous and hugely talented and can do no wrong. Big applause for a stunning ad campaign.

'The Towel Series'

This is such a beautiful picture of Natasha Poly shot by Mario Testino for his Instagram-exclusive picture series entitled 'The Towel Series'. I'm a huge fan of black and white photography, a fan of Mr. Testino and also of Natasha Poly, so this pictures is pretty much perfection to me.

W Magazine May '14 / Anna Ewers / Patrick Demarchelier

A breathtakingly simplistic and beautiful editorial from W Magazine's May issue. I am an absolute fanatic of black & white photography it is so utterly timeless and classic and of course it's a recipe for success when the photographer is Mr. Demarchelier. Everything about these pictures is perfection and exactly why I love black & white photography not to mention Anna is giving me major Brigitte Bardot vibes.
Featuring Anna Ewers, photographed by Patrick Demarchelier and hair styling by Guido Palau.
