Autumn/Winter Shoe Lust: Alexander McQueen Boots

I saw these gorgeous suede ankle boots by Alexander McQueen the other day on Matches website and instantly wanted them in my life. I LOVE that rich jewel aubergine colour, perfect for Autum/Winter, I like how neat they are- not too clumpy on the feet which is essential for an ankle boot, you don't want to look like you have cement blocks for feet! I just love these, what do you think?

Dolce & Gabbana, Fall-Winter 2012 Ad Campaign

Ad Campaigns for the Fall/Winter '12 collections are being released thick and fast and one of my usual favourites, Dolce & Gabbana, have another winner of a campaign this season. The pictures of the campaign, which were shot in the ornate Sicilian Palazzo Valguamera-Gangi- bring to life the strong Sicilian influence of the entire collection, with the main attraction being a strong and rather beautiful Italian family. The campaign was photographed by Giampaolo Sgura and is featuring Bianca Balti, Monica Bellucci and Bianca Brandolini D'Adda. I personally would have like to have seen Bianca Balti featured more forefront in more of the photos, like she was in the SS12 campaign, just sayin'. Either way this is a beautiful ad campaign.
