The 2014 Oscars - What The Stars Should Wear

With the Oscars happening this weekend I can't help but feel a little excited about who is going to wear what on the red carpet but then I get a little excited about awards season every year. Being a lover of fashion and a stylist at heart, I always like to think about what I would like to see the stars wearing and this year is no different. I have put together a feature for some of the nominees and named presenters for this years Oscars and what I would pick for them to wear. But we'll have to wait until Sunday night to see if any of my predications will happen. I would particularly really love to see Lupita Nyong'o wearing the Stéphane Rolland Couture dress I chose for her, I know that colour yellow looks incredible against her skin tone and it would be great to see her stand out in a bold colour like she did at the Golden Globes this year in that stunning red, caped Ralph Lauren gown. The Oscars 2013: What The Stars Should Wear

So tomorrow night is the night, the biggest night of the award season calendar; the Oscars. It's also the biggest night of the year for red carpet fashion and seeing as I featured a post on here a few weeks ago showing what I would like and think the stars should have worn to The Golden Globes I thought I most definitely have to do a feature for The Oscars. I have a feeling this year that a more simplistic style will sweep the red carpet, meaning that I don't think there will be quite as many gowns, but the attendees will choose more simple silhouettes and make a statement with accessories and of course plenty of haute jewellery. So keeping my prediction in mind most of my choices below have that simple but striking quality, so quite a few of them can have a massive impact when the right jewellery would be chosen and also the right hair style and make-up, and those last two can be more important than accessories sometimes.
