Prada Menswear FW14 / James McAvoy

Here's the ad campaign for Prada's Fall/Winter '14/15 menswear collection. Starring the very handsome James McAvoy and photographed by Annie Leibovitz.

What a gorgeous campaign. I love the dark, moody and mysterious theme, and that it's fuss free letting the clothes, James and the beautiful photography do all the talking, that is all that is needed for a truly great campaign. The styling is great and this seems to be a more relaxed and natural photography style from Annie, who usually creates very over-the-top, dramatic and overly edited photos, so seeing this fresh, new style from her is promising. Although I like Annie's photography from time to time, it is this less-is-more style from her that is my favourite. As for James, well he's gorgeous and hugely talented and can do no wrong. Big applause for a stunning ad campaign.

Feminine Summer Glamour - Streetstyle

I instantly fell in love with this entire look, from a very perfectly chic woman on the streets of Paris. That dress is just gorgeous, feminine and very Summery, but with the pairing of the flame print Prada clutch, and chunky strap Prada shoes they both ad an urban/modernness to the entire look which altogether becomes a simple but striking, very well put together outfit. Me loves it!

You Got Style: Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson wowed again at the London premiere of The Avengers a few days ago. I absolutely love the entire outfit from head to toe, the Prada dress is beautiful with the embroidered rosettes and then the pop of red around the bust. The only thing I do not like about the dress is that mismatched peplum (the short overskirt) I really don't know what purpose it serves, because the dress would have been perfect without it. I don't normally like matching the shoe colour to an outfit, because basically it can look boring and dated, but here I accept it because any other shoe colour and this entire look would have been a hot mess. The simple Bulgari jewellery compliments the dress, Scarlett's halo braid, and feminine makeup really well. At the end of all that, Scarlett looks gorgeous. Dress: Prada, Shoes: Christian Louboutin, Jewellery: Bulgari.
