Winter Beauty Inspiration

Each season I like to embrace the different beauty trends out there and try new things and for winter I introduce warmer tones to my make-up bag and I like to go a little shorter with my hair, making it more manageable and fuss-free.
This winter I'm going to be favouring berry coloured lips, subtle smoky eyes for daytime, sleek ponytails, top-knots and poker-straight hair, to name a few.
Here's some of my inspirations -

Berry lips with a simple flick of eyeliner.

Top knots and warm make-up tones.

Sleek ponytails

Modern take on the classic low-bun.

Neutral taupe eye with a red lip.

Shiny, straight hair.

Subtle smoky eyes, metallics & navy liner.

Nails So Fancy

With Autumn slowly but surely approaching, I do find myself getting quite happy about that because as much as I like Summer I have to say I love Autumn/Winter. I love the colder weather, I love wearing layers, I love the rich jewel tones associated with the A/W months; I just prefer that time of year for many reasons! So around this time of year, shops are filling up with autumnal collections and my mind starts to get into that mode, stocking up on a few new pieces for the season ahead, and it's not just clothes & accessories- I love to start stocking up on a few nice new colour nail varnishes. Which brings me to this post, I have taken some of the nail trends for A/W'14 and then picked my favourite colours, which includes neutrals, reds, greys and metallic. So here's the best nail polish colours out there for A/W'14.

Healthy, Happy Hair

When it comes to shampoo I used to find one I liked and stick with it, but in recent times I like to change it up each time I have to get a new bottle but this can be a waste of time because the majority of shampoos out there do not do what they say on the bottle. So, lately my hair for some reason has lost it's healthy shine that it always had and I could not find a shampoo to give my hair life again. That is until I saw a new shampoo by 'Aussie' the 'Miracle Shine Shampoo' and let me tell you this is one beauty product I had to share with you all. Containing pearl powder for shine and Australian Ginseng for energy and the boost that hair needs, not only do you notice a huge difference after the first wash leaving hair silky soft and super glossy but it also smells incredible. If you haven't already been able to tell I am in love with this shampoo (and so is my hair) well, I am and I am so glad to have my hair back to its soft and shiny condition.
I highly recommend this god sent shampoo, and thank you 'Aussie'!

Neutral Nails

Choosing a colour for your nails can become quite a difficult decision seeing as these days there are so many colours, brands and techniques to choose from and not to mention trends. Last year for me it was all about the bright colours, all Summer long I favoured the brights and pastels then during the colder months of Autumn/Winter I loved the deeper jewel tones. This year though its all about the neutrals- greys, beige's and even the palest of pastels and I've put together my pick of the best neutral nail polish colours out there. So let's start...
